The
kitchen in this 1920s home was very small, cut off from the
rest of the house and lacking in good work areas.
Within this area was a laundry which was too big, so room
was encroached from here and added to the kitchen. The
kitchen was then shifted from one side of the room to the
other, and the existing window replaced with French
Doors. In addition, the removal of the wall between
kitchen and dining room provided light and a sense of space
that had been lacking.
